At Power2X, Shawn led techno-economic modeling for gigawatt-scale hydrogen and e-fuel projects after gaining deep industry perspective at McKinsey's Energy practice. This journey revealed how fragmented tools create critical bottlenecks in capital deployment. Driven by this insight, he co-founded Puls8 to unite engineering, commercial, and finance teams through a single, dynamic modeling platform. Shawn envisions a future where clean hydrogen projects progress from concept to final investment decision in months rather than years—creating a pathway for the hydrogen economy to fulfill its promise and ambitious 2030 targets.
During his time as CTO at Path (which secured $40M in funding), Lukas engineered the scalable, high-performance infrastructure that enabled complex data workflows. At Puls8, he applies this expertise to build a future-ready platform for hydrogen simulation that balances sophisticated modeling with practical usability. By creating tools that allow teams to explore countless scenarios without compromising on speed or precision, Lukas aims to provide the foundational technology needed to accelerate investment decisions, advance climate solutions, and support the global energy transition—one project at a time.
